Last week, for Uganda’s Independence Day (October 9), we had
an Alumni Ice Cream Social where a few of our USP alums returned to tell our current students about
their stories and journeys since USP and how the program impacted them. All of these alums are back living and
working in Uganda in some capacity.

Medaline Boey: Meda studied with USP in the Spring of 2011 and now works for Youth With a Mission (YWAM) teaching sustainable farming methods in Jinja.

Sharon Mbabazi: Sharon studied with USP in the Spring of 2008 and is now working for the Africa Institute of Music as well as running a music program at Salama School for the Blind. She and her Ugandan husband Michael have 2 children and reside in Mukono.

Morgan McDonald: Morgan studied with USP in the Fall of 2010 and is now interning in Gulu for International Justice Mission.
