Uganda is...Thoughts from Current Students

"Uganda has the most beautiful mornings."

On the shores of Lake Victoria, Africa's largest lake by area can be found in Uganda. Many people believe that this is the source of the Nile River, which also runs through Uganda.

"Uganda is full of lush & verdant landscapes."

"Uganda is filled with wonderful, welcoming & loving people."

A typical roadside, with many shops.
Dubbed the "Pearl of Africa" by Sir Winston Churchill, Uganda is a land of vast and varied landscapes, from Savannah grasslands to snow-capped mountains.  Its people are just as varied, with Uganda being home to over 50 different tribes.

The view over Mukono town.

"Uganda is relaxation and tea time."

"Uganda is a place that values embracing presence with others."

Since Uganda Christian University is located on Monkey Hill, the campus is always full of these cute little guys.

"Uganda has quickly become home."

"Uganda is a very green, beautiful country full of welcoming & kind people that embrace the art of being fully present."

"Uganda is calm."

"Uganda is challenging, yet so enriching in my personal growth."
